The story:
The quilt center was made with the leftover nine-patch blocks from "Soldiers". I really liked how the same blocks, set differently, can look so different. I THINK I actually used up the rest of the soldier fabric. This quilt was given to my youngest child's teacher for Christmas 2006.

Description:
Nine-patch blocks (3 inch) with a 1 in black sashing make up the center of this small quilt. It is accented with a 2 inch inner border which showcases the soldier theme fabric. It is framed with a 3 inch black outer border. The backing is a red/black plaid and the binding is hand finished.
